WE CLINCHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite My Worries, Yankees Are Definitely In!!!

I was on the verge of a heart attack when I wrote my last entry. But today, my heart is in much better condition and I am full of smiles. My Yankees clinched a postseason spot last night. The Rangers lost, and the Yankees beat the Angels 6-5. I am so proud 🙂

Pitching Analysis: Chad Gaudin started toed the rubber for the Yanks last night. He did a nice job (remember, he is Chad Gaudin). He went 4 & 2/3 innings of 2-run ball. Not his best start, but the Yankees wound up winning the game. Surprisingly, the Yankees have won all of Gaudin’s starts.

Alfredo Aceves relieved Gaudin, and he allowed 2 runs. Marte gave up 1 hit and then was pulled and replaced by Phil Hughes. Hughes allowed a run, but he picked up the win. As always, (except for that Ichiro incident) Mo nailed it down for his 41st save of the year. The pitching was good enough for the win last night. If the Yanks can manage a win when their 5th starter is pitching, they have to feel pretty good.

Defensive Analysis: The Yankees made 2 errors last night, one by Cano and one by Posada. But Alex Rodriguez made a sparkling play with the bases loaded. A sharp grounder was hit to his right, and he dove, gloved it, and fired a strike to Tex for the out, and the end of the Halo’s threat.

Offensive Analysis: The Yankee offense was not dead last night. They managed 6 runs on 10 hits. They had a big 3rd inning, thanks to a pair of 2-run homers by Arod and Posada. Matsui had a solo homer of his own in the 5th. The Yankee bats were silent for awhile, and the Angels fought their way back and tied the game at 5. I was thinking that the Yankee offense had died, and that they would not come back. But I forgot something: they are The Drama Club. They can always come back.

Jorge Posada (r.) is greeted by Hideki Matsui after hitting a two-run home run against the Angels in the third inning.

I would rather see Cervelli, (♥) but I enjoy seeing Jorge come through.

Hideki Matsui and Yankees have plenty to cheer about as they clinch a playoff berth and beat the Angels, 6-5, in Anaheim on Tuesday night.

GODZILLA!!!

The Yankees were indeed The Drama Club last night, as they pushed ahead in the 9th. Alex Rodriguez drove in the go-ahead run with a sac fly. The Yankees went on to win it 6-5.

-DEEEEEEEEEEEP breath- -sigh of relief- Well, they did it. My boys did it. They clinched. I was so worried that this team was collapsing. I guess I was being a little ridiculous. I mean, they are only human. They have to slump eventually. Last night’s win was a big one, not just because they clinched, but because they played hard. That game felt like a postseason game, and the Yankees came out on top. Maybe it is a sign of things to come….hm….I sure hope so. I really, really, REALLY want the Yankees to go all the way this year. I don’t want to have to ponder about that little thing I did when I was 8 that I think cursed my Yankees. (http://southernbelle.mlblogs.com/archives/2009/08/the-curse-of-the-pen.html) We’ll see. The heroes for the victory are Alex Rodriguez, for his 3 RBI’s, Jorge & Hideki for their homers, and just the whole team in general, for improving my well-being with the win. THANK YOU, BOYS! The Smelly Sox who cheat at Fenway are in Kansas City, and I hope the Royals can be spoilers again.

I’m watching the Yankee game right now. They are leading 3-1. My man Melky, who has been slumping, just got a hit. Just thought I’d say that 🙂 I am getting very excited, and a little sad. Only 9 games left? I am going to be so lonely when the season is over. I’m going to miss my men 😦 They just have to win the World Series so the offseason is shorter and so I can see them longer. GO YANKEES!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PANIC MODE!!!!!……Breathe In,….Breathe Out….

Yankees Lose Again! AAAHHH!!!!

……-deep breath-…..-sigh-…..I’m beginning to panic…..I know we have a lead, but I am still beginning to panic….it doesn’t look good right now….my Yanks are 4-6 in their last 10 games…our offense has been dead…..our bullpen has been bad….aaahhhh!…..what’s happening to my Yankees?!?!…..slumping?….NOW?…..get it together, boys….get it together,….for the sake of my well-being…..just get it together…The Yankees lost….to the Angels last night…5-2…..and I am freaking out….I need to pull myself together….I’m gonna make this short because….if I think about it for too long….I don’t know what will happen to me….

Pitching Analysis: Andy…Pettitte…okay enough with the dots for now. Andy started last night after missing a start due to shoulder fatigue. He gave up 2 runs in the first, and I then gave up on the game. But Andy did fairly well last night. He went 6 innings of 3-run ball. That’s a quality start. But the Yankees didn’t take advantage of it. The bullpen did not do the job last night. Bruney and Albaladejo gave up a run in each of their inning of work. Not too good, boys.

Andy Pettitte delivers six innings in return to rotation but Yankees can't solve Anaheim jinx.

Andy always gives it his all.

Offensive Analysis: Where are the Bronx Bombers? Where is the Drama Club? Where is the offensive explosion I have grown accustomed to? The Yankees only managed 2 runs last night, solo homers by Arod and Matsui. The Yankees only had 3 situations with runners in scoring position, and they were 0-3. First of all, when you know you aren’t hitting, you HAVE to get the big hit with runners in scoring position. If you can’t seem to get on base, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! Try to bunt! Or just lean in and let it clip the elbow! Make it happen! It’s frustrating to watch when the offense is dead and no one does anything about it. I’m sure they were trying, but seriously. They need to play like it is the postseason. Play hard, play like it is the last game ever. Win, win WIN!!!!

Hideki Matsui homers in the eighth inning, but the Yankees' bats muster little offense.

Godzilla homered, but Yanks couldn’t come back.

Do I have the right to panic? I know we have a 5 game lead over the smelly sox who cheat at Fenway, but I am still worried. We play the Red Sox this weekend. We have to win. YANKEES! PLEASE! STOP SLUMPING! THIS IS NOT HEALTHY FOR ME! I DON’T NEED STRESS LIKE THIS!!! Please win for me, I don’t want to die. I am too young for death. My heart is going to crumble if this continues. Come on, Yanks. You are a great club. This is not you; you are way better than this. Play that way. I still love you guys. Especially you, Sergio 😉 I still believe in you, Yanks, I am just panicking. A win tonight will help me. GO YANKEES! I LOVE YOU ALL THE WAY, BOYS!

The Bombers Bombed Again!

Yanks Blowout Mariners

Last night’s game was a nice bounce-back win. On Friday, the only offense for the Yanks came from 2 sac flies, 1 by Arod and 1 by Tex in that 3-2 loss. But last night was different. The Yankees went on another offensive explosion as they beat the Mariners 10-1.

Pitching Analysis: C “Cy” Sabathia was superb again last night. He went 7 innings of 1-run ball, and he struck out 8. CC now has 18 wins. I believe he deserves the Cy Young award. He has went above and beyond my expectations for him. Every week, he goes out there and throws 7 or 8 beyond quality innings. Even when he doesn’t have his best stuff, CC takes the ball and still manages to go deep into the game, allowing minimal damage. And his presence in the clubhouse makes a world of difference to this club. CC is as great a guy as he is a pitcher. I really think he should win the Cy Young, but that’s just me.

CC Sabathia allows only one run in seven innings of work for the Yankees.

CC was excellent. A liner hit him right below the Adam’s Apple, but he toughed it out. CC rocks!

Brian Bruney, who changed his number from 38 to 99, pitched a scoreless 8th. Jonathan Albaladejo pitched a scoreless 9th. His eyes are looking a bit better. The pitching was fabulous last night. It was fabulous on Friday, but A.J. did not get a win because of that blown save incident. But at least he is coming around. If CC and A.J. can be sharp going into October, I believe the Yanks have a great shot at going all the way. When they are on, they are the best 1-2 starters in baseball.

Defensive Analysis: The defense was solid once again. Arod made an error, but it didn’t cost anything. I remember he made a great play on a slow roller, which he barehanded and fired to Tex. But the runner was safe. It was still an incredible play just to make it close. My man Francisco Cervelli looked soooo cute behind the plate last night. Everything he does is cute. He showed off his arm last night, chasing Beltre back to second base. When Beltre tried to steal third, Cervelli used his cannon arm and fired a rocket strike to Arod. The ball beat Beltre there, but it got knocked out of Alex’s glove. That’s okay, Cervelli. “A” for effort, you cute thing, you!

Offensive Analysis: The Bronx Bombers bombed in Seattle last night, that’s for sure. 10 runs on 18 hits. Tex had 2 homers and 5 RBI’s. My Cervelli had a nice night at the plate; he went 2 for 4 with an RBI of his own. There was a lot of offense last night.

The Yankees played good baseball last night, and unlike Friday night, the results showed it with a “W”. The heroes for the victory are CC Sabathia for his stellar performance once again, Francisco Cervelli, just because I love him so much, and Mark Teixeira, for his 2 homers, his triple, his 5 ribis, and his cute face. The Yankees still have a 6 game lead over the Red Sox who cheat at Fenway. But those Smelly Sox were in Baltimore last night, so I guess they won fair and square. The season is winding down. It is very sad. I love baseball and I love my Yankees and I am going to miss them more that anything when the season is over. I guess they just jave to win the World Series for me, so the offseason is shorter. Hear that, boys? Go all the way this year. I want #27! GO YANKEES!!!!!!

♥ Cervelli Tastes Victory ♥ And I Love Him ♥

My Cervelli Came Through; I Love Him All Over Again

I was going to go to bed. But then I decided I would watch the rest of the game. Jeez, I am glad I did. The Yankees were indeed the Drama Club last night. And my baby was right in the middle of it. What a great moment. The Yankees won in walkoff fashion 5-4.

Pitching Analysis: Chad Gaudin started in place of Andy Pettitte last night, and he actually was pretty good. He went 5 & 2/3 innings of 3-run ball. For an emergency start by Chad Gaudin, I would say that is pretty good. Overall, Chad has performed well in pinstripes. The Yankees have won every start he pitched. Although he is not the hottest-looking guy like Mitre, I still love him. I can’t help it. Nice job, Chad! He needs an endearing nickname…Chaddy-waddy! Hmm…I guess that works for now.

Marte, Bruney, Coke, Hughes, and Mo finished out the game. Bruney was not too good. He failed to get an out and he allowed a run. Mo got the win. The pitchers did a nice job last night.

Defensive Analysis: The defense was pretty solid last night. Jeter made an error, but whatever. I still think he should win the Gold Glove, along with the rest of the Yankee infield. All of them are fabulous. Arod made a nice play in the 1st. Aaron Hill hit a sharp liner to Alex’s right, and he leaned over, fell a bit, and caught the ball. The “Hot Corner.” I think Arod does a nice job over there.

Offensive Analysis: The Yankees jumped out to an early lead in the 1st. Jeet led off with a walk, and Texy-wexy’s RBI double brought Jeter around to score. Matsui then knocked in Tex for a RBI of his own. 2-0 Yankees. The Yankee bats were silent for a long time. In the 8th, Matsui provided a spark. He hit a 2-run homer to tie the game at 4! Yankee Stadium magic!!! The Yankees were alive. 4-4.

Godzilla gives Yanks the chance for a walkoff.

The 9th is my favorite part. I am so glad I watched!!! Brett Gardner led off with a single and stole second. Jeter moved him over to third with a ground out. And then….then my baby came up….Francisco Cervelli…I was so excited that he rejoined the team as a September callup…but he never played…he never even started a game…but last night he got a chance… With a 1-2 count, I was beginning to doubt Cervelli’s chances. I really wanted him to be the hero. So Cervy delivered.

Yankees tangle in positive way thanks to Francisco Cervelli.

That’s my boy!♥!♥!♥

Francisco ripped a single into right field, which brought home Gardner, and brought out the Yankee dugout. And it brought out my screams of joy. Cervelli was so genuinely happy. He ran into right field, because he knew Melky and Cano were going to pummel him. It was beautiful to watch my love celebrate. He went over to Kim Jones, and asked, “Where is A.J.?” Aw. Don’t worry, he’s comin’, baby. As Kim asked Cervelli questions, A.J. stealthily approached. WHAM! The pie met Cervelli’s adorable face, and he put his hands up in the air, proud to be pied. He said, “Ohh, I love the moment” with the cutest accent and smile. Cervelli then licked a bit of the cream that was on his face, and said it tasted good. That’s the taste of victory, my love. It always tastes good.

A.J. Burnett delivers celebratory strike to Francisco Cervelli after backup catcher delivers hit that Jays can't recover from in 9th inning.

Aw…his first taste of victory pie…I think I’m going to cry…I am so proud of him!!!

I think Francisco Cervelli deserves much more playing time. You all saw what he did last night. No offense to Molina, but do you think he would have done that? I don’t. Cervelli’s enthusiasm and his way of playing the game brings a spark to the club. I hope he remains a Yankee forever. It would be unwise for the Yankees to let him go.

What a game. What a game, what a game, what a game! Tuesday night, my Yankee-crush failed. But last night, my Yankee-crush succeeded. I am so proud and happy for Cervelli. Words can’t describe the emotions I felt when he won it for us. The heroes are Hideki Matsui, for his clutchness, Brett Gardner, for that timely stolen base, and my love, Francisco Cervelli, for obvious reasons. The Smelly Sox who cheat at Fenway won also, but I don’t give a sh!t. Nothing can dampen my spirits after last night’s game. Nothing at all. My Yanks are off tonight, which means I am doing a cutie post tomorrow. I promise I will do one. Tomorrow is Friday, and I will have all the time in the world to do it.

Ahh….Life is sweet….and the taste of victory makes it even sweeter. GO YANKEES!!!

My Poor Baby…

Mitre Struggles In Yankee Loss

I really feel bad for him. I really thought he would have a nice outing. You all know how I feel about him….this was just awful for me to watch. Seriously, I was close to tears. My history teacher told me that he thought “Mitre just pitched himself out of New York.” Can you imagine what I was feeling when he said that? Ugh. The Yankees lost last night 10-4.

Pitching Analysis: Sergio Mitre was…(gulp)…not..good…It pains me to say that. Mitre struggled. He went 5 innings and allowed 7 runs on 8 hits, and 4 homers. I thought he would do well because he got out of the 1st inning unscathed. And he had a scoreless 2nd. But then….that dreaded 3rd…the 2-run homer…then with 2 outs a solo homer….you can imagine how I felt….

My poor baby…what a rough game…I still love you.

Ramirez, Melancon, and Dunn finished out the game, each of them giving up a run. The Yankee pitching was not good last night at all. I’m sorry, Sergio. I still love you. (♥)

Defensive Analysis: The defense was fine as usual, but there was a different kind of defense in last night’s game involving Jorge Posada.

Posada has words with Barajas before the brawl. (CLICK PHOTO TO VIEW COMPLETE GALLERY)

Cranky Jorge.

Barajas argues his case and later says: "(Posada) saw where Jesse was and he threw an elbow and that's what triggered the whole situation. I knew where Jesse was and I didn't know if (Posada) was going to do anything or say anything, but I just kept my eye on it, hoping nothing would happen. Unfortunately something did."

Barajas is getting testy…

... as both benches clear and a melee ensues.

Whoa! Benches clear. And look who the first guy I see is…Cervelli! Right in the middle of the picture. I hope I see more of him now that Jorge is in trouble.

... as Yankee ace CC Sabathia, one of the players Girardi likely wouldn't want to see hurt in a brawl, throws his weight around to pull his catcher out.

Big CC had to restrain Jorge. I’d hate to get on CC’s bad side…he might eat me!

Some Blue Jays were hit, and then Posada was thrown behind, and he was cranky, which led to what you saw above. Pretty silly. I like brawls against the Red Sox. Those are fun because they mean something. But the Blue Jays? Come on. No rivalry there. I just hope everyone is okay.

Offensive Analysis: The Yankee offense annoyed me last night. The Yanks out-hit the Jays. The had 15 hits. Halladay was not at his best, and the Yankees could not do anything. They failed to get the big hit. It was disgusting. They had chances to score, but they didn’t. What really annoyed me was that the Blue Jays were on a home run frenzy, but the Bronx Bombers failed to bomb. I don’t get it….

Last night was not one of the Yankees’ greatest nights. And it was not the greatest night to be a Yankee fan. I was all excited to see my baby pitch, and he was bad. The offense struggled. And the Smelly Sox who cheat at Fenway won, so now the Yankee lead is 6.5. 6.5. I guess I don’t have too much to complain about. We still have a cozy lead. And even though he stunk, I still got to stare at Mitre. Hm. I guess it is okay. They have to lose sometimes. They just better win tonight. I don’t have too much work, so I am planning on watching the whole game nice and relaxed. Make it a good one for me, boys! GO YANKEES!!

Makeup Beauty

Yanks Steal Makeup Win Versus Halos

Last night’s game was fun. The Yankees were the Drama Club last night. But before we get there, let me give an extremely quick wrapup of Sunday’s game. We won 13-3. Matsui had 5 RBIs and CC was awesome. Okay. As for last night, we gave the Angels a taste of their own medicine. The Yankees beat the Angels last night 5-3. It was a beautiful win.

Pitching Analysis: Joba Chamberlain started for the Yanks last night, and when I found out it has him, I was like, “Oh, boy..this should be fun…” But Joba was pretty good. He allowed a solo homer to Vlad Guerrero in the 2nd, but that is okay. There is nothing that guy can’t hit. Aside from that, Joba looked pretty good. That had to be a confidence booster for him. It boosted my confidence in him!

Joba Chamberlain goes four innings for Bombers and doesn't factor into the decision.

Joba’s game face.

Alfredo Aceves relieved Joba in the 5th, and once again he did a remarkable job. Ace has been nothing but good things for this club. In the 7th, the Angels had runners on first and second with 1 out, and Girardi called for Phil Coke, which made me a little nervous. To my surprise, Cokey got out of the jam unscathed.

It was Hughes who got into trouble. The bases were loaded with Halos, and there were 0 outs. The Yankees were leading 3-2 at this time, and I was freaking out. I could not watch the game go down the toilet. I had my face half covered. I wanted to watch, but I didn’t. I heard the crack of the bat, and I was brave enough to look at the screen. I saw a double play! But the score was now tied at 3. Then Howie Kendrick lined out, and the inning was over. Bases loaded, 0 out, and only 1 run allowed? All things considered, not too shabby. Yeah Hughes!

As always, Mo had a scoreless 9th, and he picked up his 40th save of the year. Impressive. Mo for Cy Young!!! The Yankee pitching was excellent last night. They did a nice job quieting the Angel bats.

Defensive Analysis: The pitching was good, and so was the defense. In that 7th inning jam, Derek Jeter made an absolutely fabulous play, and so did Texy-wexy on the other end. The ball was hit up the middle, and Jeet ranged to his right, (who said Jeet has no range?) spun around, and fired to Tex, who made a lovey scoop for the out. It was a gorgeous play. The 6-4-3 double play in the 8th with the bases loaded was huge. It was turned perfectly.

Offensive Analysis: Jered Weaver does pretty well against my Yanks. He pitched well last night, but not well enough. In the 3rd, Swishalish hit a solo bomb to right. Is he finally getting comfortable at the new Yankee Stadium? I hope so. That homer tied the game at 1.

In the 5th, Swisher doubled, my man Melky walked, and Jeet bunted them over. So it was 2nd and 3rd, 1 out. Mark Teixeira came up, and he crushed a ball for a triple! Mark Teixeira. Triple. Those words are not put together too often. But whatever. Now the Yankees had a 3-2 lead!

Mark Texeria hits a triple in the 5th inning to help the Yankees beat the Angels, 5-3, in the Bronx.

Tex is adorable.

After the Halos tied it up in the top of the 8th, the Yanks looked to go ahead in the bottom half. With 1 out, Tex doubled and Arod walked. Brett Gardner was sent in to pinch run for Tex. Right as I was saying how it was stupid to take out Tex’s bat, a double steal was happening. Brett headed for third, and Napoli’s throw went into left field! Brett was motoring around third, heading for home. Safe! Yay for Brettiboo!!! 4-3 Yanks! He scored, and now Arod was on third. Speed kills! Later in the inning, Cano provided some insurance with an RBI single. That made it 5-3 Yankees, and they went on to win it.

Brett Gardner makes dash for home after stealing third and drawing errant throw in the Yankees' win over the Angels.

Run Brett, run! I’m sorry I ever doubted you. You rock!!!

It was another fun day to be a Yankee fan. The game was pretty exciting; the Drama Club did it again with another comeback win! I like how the Yankees gave the Halos a taste of their own medicine. They put the ball in play, and forced the opposition to make the plays. Nicely done. The heroes for the victory are Joba, for having a solid outing, Mark Teixeira for his bat and glove, and Brett Gardner for his wheels. The Yankee lead over the Smelly Sox who cheat at Fenway is at 7.5. It’s lookin’ good. I desperately want #27 this year…I’ve been waiting too long. Oh! I think Mitre (♥♥♥) is pitching tonight. You all know how I feel about that guy…..hahaha…. I’ve been pretty busy with school and all that jazz, but I vowed to keep blogging. I feel bad that I missed a few days. But I promise that the blog will go on! I am having too much fun with it to stop. GO YANKEES!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

**Something quick for all you cutie fans**

I feel bad that I did not put someone on the cutie post. He deserved to be there, so I will put him now.

The Dodgers’ very-own James Loney. Cat, he is a cutie. I really felt bad that he was not on my list. Now he is alone on a special cutie edition. Yeah, James! I hope your neck feels better!

Just Another Win

Yankees Play Well And Win Game 3

It was just another win for the Yankees yesterday. The offense was good, the starter did well, and the bullpen was great. It seems like this is how it always is, aside from a few random losses like in game 2. It was a good game yesterday. The Yankees beat the Blue Jays 6-4.

Pitching Analysis: Andy Pettitte was the starter for the Yankees yesterday. He was pretty good, but not nearly as good as in his flirt with perfection in his last start. Andy went 6 innings and allowed 4 runs on just 4 hits. He issued 5 walks, a bit much, and he struckout 3 along the way. It was a nice outing for Andy as he picked up his 13th win of the year. I hope he decides to come back next year.

To leadoff the 2nd inning, Randy Ruiz hit a solo homer. I was pissed. It looked so foul. The umpires used the instant replay on it. It ws clearly foul in my eyes, but I always give the Yankees the benefit in the call. To my surprise, the umpires ruled the ball a foul ball, which really bothered Ruiz. He grounded out in that at-bat, but he hit his solo homer later in the game.

The bullpen did a fantastic job yesterday. Robertson, Bruney, and Hughes combined for 3 scoreless innings. Robertson and Bruney picked up holds, and Hughes got his 3rd save. Bravo boys!

Defensive Analysis: The defense was sloppy in some places yesterday, but it made enough of the plays for the win. In the 5th with runners on 1st and 2nd, a comebacker was hit to Andy, who looked toward 2nd to throw the ball. But neither Jeter nor Cano were covering the bag. Everyone was safe. Luckily, Andy got out of the inning unscathed. In the 6th with a man aboard, Bautista hit a ball deep to center that was a tough play for Melky. Melky couldn’t make the play. Hairston fired the ball to Jeter, who tried to get Bautista out at 3rd. But Jeter made a wild throw and Andy didn’t back it up, and Bautista scored! An inside the park 2-run homer? No. It was a triple, RBI, and an E6. Whatever it was, it was sloppy.

Offensive Analysis: The Yankees made up for getting shutout by jumping out to an early lead in the 2nd. My man Melky got himself an RBI single to give the Yankees a 1-0 lead. In the 4th, Robinson Cano led off the inning with a homer. 2-0 Yankees. With 1 out, Melky came up. He was hit by the pitch in his cute little butt (again) and he screamed before the ball even hit him. Oh, Melky. Cano and many others in the dugout where laughing at Leche. Why do they always laugh when Melky gets hurt? Is it THAT funny? Well, Melky seemed alright, so I guess it was. Just another Melky moment.

Yeah, Leche!!!

After the Jays tied up the game in the 4th, Mark Teixeira led off the inning with a home run. They were too busy showing a replay from the previous inning and when they went back to the game, Tex was rounding the bases. Go Tex! 3-2 Yankees. In the 6th, Alex Rodriguez came through with another clutch RBI single up the middle. I like this Arod. He is not trying to hit homers and be the big star anymore. I always said that sometimes all you need is a single, and now Arod sees that. Good for him. Posada added an RBI single of his own in that inning, making it 5-2 Yankees. Melky tacked on another one with another RBI single in the 9th.

It was a good game to watch yesterday. There was a little bit of everything. Homers, singles, interesting plays, instant replay, good pitching, it was just a good game. Better because we won. The heroes are Melky Cabrera, for again provideing comic relief for the club and for his 2 RBIs, Robinson Cano for going 3-4 with a homer, and the bullpen for holding the lead. The Smelly Sox who cheat at Fenway were not at Fenway yesterday and they lost! So the Yankees now have an 8.5 game lead!!! There are only a few weeks left, and we have a huge lead! Don’t get me wrong. A lot can happen, it is possible. But hey. It isn’t probable. Sexy mu..mum..mu Mitre pitches today. I hope he does well. GO YANKEES!!!!!
